JKSSB Announces Results for Constable (Telecommunication) Exam, Download Here
Srinagar, 20 January: The Jammu and Kashmir Services Selection Board (JKSSB) has announced the results for the written examination held on December 8, 2024, for the post of Constable (Telecommunication) in the Home Department.
This exam was part of Advertisement Notification No. 01 of 2024, under item no. 03.
Earlier, the JKSSB released a provisional answer key on December 8, 2024. After reviewing the feedback, a revised and final answer key was issued on January 20, 2025. The final results and score-sheet have now been published and can be accessed as Annexure “A.”
As per the rules in S.O. 290 of 2021 and the Advertisement Notification, candidates who have National Cadet Corps (NCC) certificates will receive additional marks. The bonus marks are awarded as follows:
- 5% of the maximum marks for NCC “C” certificate holders.
- 3% of the maximum marks for NCC “B” certificate holders.
- 2% of the maximum marks for NCC “A” certificate holders.
It is important to note that just being listed in the results does not automatically qualify candidates for further stages of selection. Candidates must meet all eligibility criteria, and the final decision of the JKSSB will be binding.
Candidates who are in the merit list will be called for the Physical Standard Test and Physical Endurance Test. The schedule for these tests will be notified separately. Additionally, the NCC certificates claimed by candidates will be verified before awarding the additional marks.
