J&K CCE 2024: Important Instructions for Candidates
The Jammu & Kashmir Public Service Commission (JKPSC) has issued an important notice for candidates appearing in the J&K Combined Competitive (Preliminary) Examination 2024. The exam is scheduled to be held on February 23, 2025, in two sessions. The first session will take place from 10:00 AM to 12:00 Noon, and the second session will be conducted from 02:00 PM to 04:00 PM.
Candidates must reach the examination venue at least two hours before the commencement of the first session, i.e., by or before 08:00 AM for GS-I. For the second session (GS-II), candidates must reach at least one hour before the exam starts, i.e., by or before 01:00 PM. Latecomers will not be allowed to enter the exam center under any circumstances.
It is mandatory for all candidates to carry their Admit Card along with a valid identity proof such as Aadhaar Card, PAN Card, Driving License, or Passport. Candidates must ensure they bring only the required documents, as failure to produce valid ID proof may result in disqualification.
Candidates are strictly prohibited from bringing any electronic gadgets inside the examination center. Items such as mobile phones, smartwatches, calculators, headphones, and Bluetooth devices are not allowed. Additionally, any unauthorized or incriminating materials are strictly forbidden within the exam hall.
The JKPSC has urged all candidates to follow these instructions carefully to ensure smooth conduct of the examination. The commission has also requested the Department of Information & Public Relations, J&K, to publish this notice in leading newspapers for wider awareness.
