J&K Government Transfers 13 ARTOs and In-Charge ARTOs
Srinagar, 18 Jan: The Government of Jammu and Kashmir has transferred 13 Assistant Regional Transport Officers (ARTOs) and In-Charge ARTOs in the Transport Department. These changes were announced in Government Order No. 05-JK(TR) of 2025 and will take effect immediately.
As part of the reshuffle, Sheetal Kumar Sharma, ARTO Ramban, has been posted to ARTO Doda. Abrar Ahmed Kripak, ARTO Kulgam, will also take on the additional responsibility of ARTO Shopian. Bashrat Mahmood, ARTO Pulwama, has been transferred to ARTO Poonch.
Some officers have been assigned to enforcement roles. Pawan Kumar Sharma has been posted as In-Charge ARTO Flying Squad-II on the National Highway. Bipin Singh Charak will now lead Flying Squad-I in Jammu.
All officers are directed to join their new positions immediately.
